Londoners: The Days and Nights of London Now
with Craig Taylor

Thursday 28th March

6-8 pm

What do a City of London trader, dominatrix, airline pilot, night club bouncer, a Tube suicide witness and the man who runs the Old Bailey have in common? They all appear in Craig Taylor’s 'Londoners: The Days and Nights of London Now', which received rave reviews when it was published last year.

This book has successfully managed to establish itself as the go-to book about contemporary London. And now, Taylor has signed up to give a talk at Guildhall Library about how he encouraged Londoners to spill the beans about what they love and hate about the capital.

Born in Edmonton but raised in Vancouver Island, Taylor spent hundreds of hours, simply listening to people talk about their experiences and then, had the mammoth task of distilling the recordings into one manageable tome featuring a cast of around 80 people.

Taylor’s talk at the library will be time well spent – he’s a very entertaining story teller (yes, he can talk as well as listen…). Following his talk enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink and an opportunity to meet the author, purchase a copy of the book at a discounted price and have it signed.

£5 – please book in advance
